Buzzin’ Blooms Flower Farm Update

On Sunday, November 23rd, fifteen guests gathered at South x SouthEast for our fall flower-arranging class, filling the space with creativity, color, and familiar faces. Several participants returned after enjoying our last two workshops in spring and fall, making it a warm, welcoming reunion. If you weren’t able to join us this time, there’s still an opportunity to be part of the fun—registration is open for our Christmas class on Sunday, December 21st. We’d love to see you there!

With the holidays quickly approaching, our amaryllis bulbs—available loose or beautifully potted—make the perfect gift for anyone on your list, especially those who are hard to buy for. They’re wonderful as hostess gifts, thoughtful teacher presents, and joyful surprises for kids who love watching them grow.

Although these stunning blooms arrive after Christmas, they bring a welcome burst of color during the peaceful, quiet weeks that follow. Each premium bulb produces 3–5 sturdy stems, each stem carrying multiple vibrant flowers—an elegant way to brighten winter days. Choose from several beautiful colors and keep in mind these are jumbo size (not the small dried ones from the big box stores) for the most impressive blooms after the holidays.

As I did last year, I’ll also have 2026 Subscription Gift Cards available — a wonderful way to share the joy of fresh, local flowers for the holidays. They make the perfect gift for flower lovers and are sure to bring beautiful blooms and smiles well into next season. I will have those ready for purchase by Dec 1st.

Looking ahead, I’ll be at the Winter Market on Saturday, December 6th at the Chateau in downtown Rochester. This is a fantastic opportunity to support small local businesses - art, pottery, clothing and so much more. It is always fun!
